When you visit my website or blog, information is collected in a way which does not identify anyone. Personal contact details are only collected when you complete the enquiry form within the ‘Get in Touch’ page or when you make contact by either email or telephone.
How Do I Use The Information Collected?
Any personal contact details collected will only be used in communication, both verbal and written, with you throughout the course of the design process for your garden. This information will be stored both physically on paper and electronically within computer records. It will be processed on a contract lawful basis as this information will be used within quotations for any design and all other communication during the course of the design process.
Who Do I Share The Information Collected With?
Personal contact details will only be shared with third parties involved in the design of your garden, e.g. garden landscapers, suppliers of garden material. This information would only be shared with your consent that would be asked for within the garden design proposal.
How Long Do I Retain The Information?
Once the garden design proposal has been accepted and agreed, any personal contact details recorded will be retained indefinitely to comply with legal obligations and resolution of any future disputes.
If there is no requirement to produce a design proposal or a design proposal has not been accepted, then personal contact details will only be retained for 90 days after which related computer records will be removed and paper documentation will be destroyed.
How Is Your Information Protected And Who Has Access To It?
Personal details that are collected electronically are stored within a secure server. These details are regularly saved to cloud storage operated by Google who have obtained confirmation of compliance from the European Data Protection Authorities.
Personal details collected physically that include paper documentation are stored within secure premises.
Access to either electronic or physical information is restricted to Lisa Cox Designs.
