RHS Flower Show Cardiff 2015 – The finished garden!

I am thrilled to finally be able to share some pictures of my finished RHS Cardiff Flower Show garden for Victoria Park Mazda entitled “A Front Garden” I’m thrilled to tell you that we were awarded a Bronze medal.

After all the hard work and VERY long days I felt a little disappointed yesterday that we didn’t get a better medal, but the public’s response to the garden and bright vibrant planting has been absolutely brilliant and today I have a renewed energy because I’ve created a garden that people can relate to and that they can take inspiration from.

The whole experience of designing and building a show garden has taught me loads – it’s been challenging, uplifting, exhausting, stressful (at times) and rewarding all rolled into one. I’ve enjoyed almost every minute!

Huge congratulations, Lisa! What a feat. You are a very clever lady. I adore all the bright, cheery colours, love Jonathan’s woodwork for the storage solutions and think this is one of the prettiest front gardens I have ever seen. Well done, you!

Wow! That’s a gorgeous front garden. I can totally see why the general public liked it – it looks beautiful but still practical and achievable. I would definitely have given you a gold medal!

Wow! It looks great. A garden that would really work for ‘normal people’ (are there such things?). And I love the zingy euphorbias next to the bright tulips.

What a brilliant garden! I really love the combination of the setts and the gravel. It looks interesting and is so practical. And of course the colours of the planting which did make me smile. Well done.
