There’s so much to inspire at the Chelsea Flower Show and it’s not all about the show gardens and floral exhibits.
The picnic area by the Artisan Retreast is a shaded area in the show ground where you can take some time out – especially on hot days when you’re desperate to get some respite from the sun.
The trees are always decorated with something and this year it was with fabric lanterns which I thought were fabulous.
I’m always on the look out for new garden artists too as you never know when you may be looking for a piece of sculpture.
Like any art, the choice of garden sculpture very much depends on the personal style of the client. There were old and new faces at Chelsea this year but the work of Nicolas Moreton was the work that caught my eye.
His stone sculptures are really stunning.
But finally, I want to share a picture of this piece of sculpture in the Khora Architectural Domes stand which I thought was gorgeous.
That’s the thing about Chelsea, even the exhibitors design their stands so beautifully – it’s not just about selling stuff (well mostly it is!), they aim to inspire us too!
